The beachfront deck provided a beautiful view and was super convenient for going to the beach. I would recommend this hotel.

As a senior woman, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Surf Motel in Umdloti. The general areas of the motel were well-maintained and accessible for someone like me. The spacious deck, with its panoramic sea views and soothing ocean sounds, provided the perfect spot for relaxation and contemplation. It was a true oasis for a senior traveler like myself.

If there was one thing I would ask for to make the vacation even better for senior people, it would be to have more staff readily available to assist us. While the children working there were friendly and helpful, it would have been beneficial to have more staff members present to cater to the needs of senior guests.

We had a great weekend staying by the ocean. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the beach and with a stunning view of the sea from our balcony. The room was clean and comfortable, with crisp linens and towels. We also appreciated having an aircon and a good selection of TV channels.

That the parking was tight, and we had to be careful with our car as there were monkeys around that could damage it. the shower needed a bit more lighting and a door to keep the water from splashing everywhere.

As women traveling alone, we felt really looked after by the staff. They went out of their way to ensure we had a room with separate beds, which was a pleasant surprise considering our previous hotel did not fulfill our request. The fans and air-conditioning in the room made our stay even more comfortable in the hot weather. The self-catering kitchen was well equipped and convenient to use. The location of the motel was perfect, right across from the beach, and the viewing deck provided a beautiful ocean view. The WiFi was excellent, better than many 5-star hotels we've stayed at. a charming and low-key beach hotel that made for a lovely and stress-free holiday.

The chalets at Surf Motel are amazing! They have a cozy kitchenette where we could whip up our own meals, and the private bathroom had all the free toiletries we needed. The air conditioning kept us cool, and the seating area with the flat-screen TV was perfect for relaxing and watching our favorite shows.

Personally, I found the satellite channels on the TV to be a bit limited. But hey, that's just my preference, others might still enjoy it.
